In an exclusive interview with Mpasho's Kalondu Musyimi, former Kiss radio presenter Oga Obinna has given reasons why he did not attend Akothee's wedding.

According to Obinna, he was not invited to the occasion as he explained that;

"Sikuitwa," Meaning, "I was not invited," as he further explained that it all happened because of a video he did on his Kula Cooler show with Kenya's prominent makeup artist Dennis Karuri where Denis spoke about Akothee;

"After that, Akothee took offense and stopped being my friend and she also called me as she was very pisssed."

The funny man continued expounding that;

"She told me to bring the video down or else she would call her lawyers saying that we were lying about her," he claimed.

He went on to say that that's what happened and they don't talk anymore revealing that they are not friends and he is cool with all that sarcastically saying that;

"I'm easy, no anything deducted, nothing added life goes on."

Singer Akothee brought together people from all walks of life to her wedding ceremony that took place on Monday, April 10, 2023.

Those who attended the wedding were top politicians, business people, and media personalities among others.

Others who were also not at the wedding include socialite Vera Sidika, Wahu, Carol Radull, Maina Kageni, Guardian Angel, Esther Musila, KRG the Don, and Risper Faith among other celebrities.

On the other hand, the flamboyant musician Akothee shared on her Instagram page saying that if you didn't see anyone in her wedding just know that they weren't invited.

At the wedding, Akothee was rocking her Sh 700K wedding gown which she purchased in Paris.
