MCA Tricky's upcoming comedy show is his most ambitious!

The comedian discloses that he champions for education

• MCA Tricky is promoting his upcoming show 'A Tricky Comedy Circuit' that will be at Nairobi Cinema on the 31st of this month.

• Apart from comedy, Tricky also champions for education disclosing that Kenya Education Fund is the main sponsor of the show explaining that the organization funds those who are not able to go to school.

MCA Tricky is promoting his upcoming show 'A Tricky Comedy Circuit' that will be at Nairobi Cinema on the 31st of this month.

During an interview with Mpasho.co.ke, the comedian noted that his upcoming comedy night is such a big deal to him, "It is such a big step that I am making in my career".

He added that the show is going to be big and better compared to his previous shows but he is glad that he learned a lot.

The comedian revealed that Corona really hit him hard as a comedian since everything was online and there were no shows.

He also noted that last year he went to Sudan and Rwanda where he performed, learned, and did his research on comedy adding,

"That's when I came up with an idea to come up with such event was for me to apply what I learned because I want to become a better stand-up comedian since I was born in Churchill show and my father, Churchill has many comedians there and there is little space  for growth."

The radio presenter also disclosed that he will invite international comedians that he has worked with and met and that they are his personal friends from South Sudan, Nigerian to Rwanda comedians.

"I know their work and that's why I have invited them to come." He further explained that he will soon have a comedy tour too.

About the entrance fees, the comedian said that "Entrance is one thousand".

Apart from comedy, Tricky also champions education and told Mpasho that Kenya Education Fund is the main sponsor of the show revealing that the organization funds those who are not able to go to school.

"Twenty percent of the profit inaenda kusaidia watoto hawaezi enda shule just to support them," he explained.

During the performance, there will be a one-hour performance where Tricky will perform adding that rehearsals started last year since the show is a special.

"I started my rehearsals last year since I don't like to let down my audience and I have been testing jokes with crowds," terming that as a lot of work.

Speaking of studies, he revealed that he is still studying adding that "multi-tasking is very hard". Since he is a comedian, radio presenter, and also a student but at least he is in his final year saying, "I'm in my final year naona  graduation ikiwa  this year December."

The radio presenter concluded by urging people to get their tickets ready since the show will be lit and memorable.
