Socialite and businesswoman Vera Sidika will share her life in The Real Housewives of Nairobi for people to know who exactly she is.
Vera said she felt like most people think they know her and that her life is an open book.
"I feel like The Real Housewives of Nairobi is a great platform for people to know who Vera is. People will get to know me in a very deep way, and understand the kind of personality and character that I have," she said.
In the first episode, Vera gushed over her husband saying he had been very supportive of her career.
She also briefly talked about her daughter saying she is taking after her although she loves her dad the most.
"He is the most handsome man ever and Asia looks so much like the dad but she has so much of my personality. She loves the camera. She is so bubbly and I want to give her the best in life."
One of the cast, Lisa said she had not heard about Vera before the show. According to Vera, this was like an insult because of her huge following.
"What do you mean, you don't know me, yet I am the most googled celebrity in this country. More than the president and that is on period. They discuss me in the statehouse," she claimed.
In an interview with Mpasho, Vera said people google everything about her.
"They google, Vera's boyfriend, Vera's handbags, Vera's baby, Vera's wedding, Vera's bosom, Vera twerking. I mean everything and that is the star I am," she said.
First announced in September 2022, The Real Housewives of Nairobi will follow five influential and successful women as they navigate their lavish lifestyles, relationships and careers in Nairobi, Kenya.
The reality show is premiering on Showmax on 23 February 2023, with new episodes dropping every Thursday.
