While Faku is the highlight of the show, Radio Africa also got a deep, exciting, and skilled pool of talent that will supplement her during the African-inspired festival.

They are; SURAJ, Sultan, Big Nyagz, Ms. Bune, and Dj Rubba.

In case some of you might not know who these great performers are, we have got you covered and will profile DJ SURAJ in this article.

So who is DJ SURAJ?

I am a 28-year-old Kenyan-born DJ, music producer & sound engineer. SURAJ creates contemporary electronic music infused with traditional African, cultural and musical elements.

Since making my debut in Nairobi, I have emerged as a dynamic and trailblazing DJ/ producer in East Africa. I have now set my sights on becoming a beacon in Africa’s burgeoning electronic music scene.

What drew you to Afro House?

I was heavily influenced by electronic music and wanted a sound I can relate to and Afro House brings the best of both worlds.

Describe your style;

I’d describe my music style as contemporary yet rooted and African.
