Bold Network Africa CEO, Makena Njeri, has addressed their relationship status.

Speaking to Mpasho.co.ke, Makena said they are single and focusing on their company.

"I am very single and focusing on my company. I want my life experiences to be able to open up spaces for confidence and boldness for other people in the queer community to love loudly and proudly if you can," Makena said.

"Right now am very focused also on myself and if love finds me, it definitely will."

Asked to speak about their alleged relationship with business-lady Michelle Ntalami, Makena emphasized the importance of respecting people's private lives.

"I have no comment about that but one thing I say is people's private life should be left alone. It really does not matter to the public. Whatever happened," Makena said.

Asked about their friendship with Ntalami, Makena said Michelle is someone who will always be in their life. 

Speaking about the qualities they are looking for in a partner, Makena said they have to be bold and ready to commit.

"I would want someone who has a good head over their shoulder (be intelligent and good at decision making), be very focused about what they do and be ready to commit, and someone who can love openly and boldly," Makena said.

On whether Makena would want to be a parent, they said they love children.

"I will definitely want to be a parent in the future and am absolutely excited to be a parent and everybody who knows me, knows how I love kids," Makena said.

"Am just preparing to raise them and teach them how to love everybody and to be in this world that is getting crazier by the day."
