Kenya's megastar Nyashinski is known for being innovative and disrupting the status quo.

In an interview, Nyashinski talked about venturing into NFTs.

An NFT is a digital asset that represents real-world objects like art, music, in-game items and videos. They are bought and sold online, frequently with cryptocurrency, and they are generally encoded with the same underlying software as many cryptos.

"We have a lot of dope visual artistes in our camp. And the expressions are definitely going to make their money in one way or another," Nyashinski said.

Asked what his thoughts are on NFTs and how he would be incorporating it in his music strategy, the Free hitmaker said, "That is a very broad subject but I think a good way to look at it in scale."

Adding, "Again, this business is about evolving or you die. So it is definitely in the works."

Nyashinski talked about Shin City and the fears he had about undertaking such a huge and innovative project.

"You are getting a chance to see how many people have come to see me what can I try. That gives you a true gauge of your value that informs your rate card and how you charge.

With this model of building your own show of course there is risk in every business but ideally, it's the model that people all over the world use."

Will Nyashnki be signing an artiste soon? He said he would do it if a lot of factors come into play that are favourable because signing an act and leaving them in limbo is a detriment to their mental health and wellbeing.

"Do you know the effect of being famous then not being famous? And not having money? It is bad. That is why people commit suicide."

Counselors, medics, and psychologists advise that you can always reach out for help when experiencing any mental health issues. Call Kenya Red Cross toll-free hotline, 1199 for support.
