After being handed his nomination certificate by party leader Musalia Mudavadi, Gabu has unveiled his detailed plan for Woodley residents.

His focus is on Education, Healthcare, Youth and women empowerment, Economic development, Talent management, fight against drugs among others.

"In my first 100 days I would like to focus on the urgent and pressing issues for example my business community in the markets need street lighting urgently, clearing of garbage , drainage and generally making the work environment conducive," Gabu told Mpasho in an interview.

The singer also said he will make sure that bursaries are going to the people who deserve them.

"There are some roads that need urgent attention and I would like to look at how they can be repaired and maintained.

Security is also something I would like to focus on to ensure that people are able to live and go about their business without feeling threatened or unsafe," Gabu added.

Being a member of ANC party, Gabu is in the same coalition (Kenya Kwanza) with his main opponent DNG, who is contesting for the Woodley MCA seat on a UDA ticket.

But what if the parties decide to field only one candidate? Would any of you hold back his ambitions to support the other? We asked Gabu.

"If we get to this we should let the people decide which candidate they want to represent them on the ballot. We can not ignore the will of the people in the decision making," he said.
