'Baby daddies tend to leave them' - Tifanny muses

• Bensoul's baby mama Tifanny Wanjiru is awake to the reality of what young mothers go through. "For most young mothers when things happen people tend to stay away from them and baby daddies tend to leave them so I feel like this will bring people together and in future I will be getting more professional help to come and help."

Tifanny Wanjiru is elated at the chance to be a mother.

In an interview with Mpasho she said that she is not planning on having more babies so she will enjoy all the milestones of her pregnancy and raising the child because it is a one-off deal for her.

Asked if her baby daddy, Bensoul, will be part of the journey, she said, "Well, I'm still thinking about it. I feel like after I get this child I don't think I want any more children so I want to experience everything with this one child and I will do it in a very simple way because I feel like people have been so in my business lately but if Ben will want to be apart of his child who am I to say no? "

Tifanny added, "At the end of the day what is important is not my emotions and what I feel about him it is actually this baby getting a chance to have a father in its life because I know how it feels like not having one parent."

She noted, "I would do everything. I would go over and beyond to ensure that if Ben wants to have a relationship with his child that opportunity is there."

Tifanny has started a support group for young pregnant women who need a safe space to just share their experiences with each other.

"It won't need any monetary support but it will be a place where people can connect and share their experiences because I have been learning alot from others and I feel like there are people who have been feeling they are alone during their pregnancy period."

She continued, "For most young mothers when things happen people tend to stay away from them and baby daddies tend to leave them so I feel like this will bring people together and in future I will be getting more professional help to come and help."
