Sio kiburi! Why Nyashinski won't have curtain-raisers on Shin City

• Nyashinski explained, "When you are going to watch Fast and the Furious you are not expecting to see a curtain raiser movie before the movie."

Entertainer Nyashinski is setting standards with his upcoming concerts dubbed Shin City on April 16.

Nyashinski in an interview with Mpasho revealed that he will not have any curtain-raisers in his show.

"Curtainraisers is a very interesting word," Nyashinski said, "That is another thing that we have to change. That is why I want people to think of Shin City as its own entity."

Adding, "When you are going to watch Fast and the Furious you are not expecting to see a curtain-raiser movie before the movie. Shin City is one show but it is a good show, an amazing show. There will be no lineup of noise, noise noise."

Nyashinski explained, "If I have curtain-raisers and they have not put in the 60 days of rehearsal then I'm doing a disservice to them. I feel like something like this is a chance to break the ceiling and change the mindset of how to conduct business."

Speaking during a pre-concert held this week, Nyashinski said that he has always done things in his own way, with the interests of his fans at heart.

"The one way I have always wanted to do that is to lead by example I remember the first year when I came back from the states. I was not doing clubs, and it seemed strange and I was not doing interviews and that seemed strange then I was like I'm not going to curtain raise and then that seemed strange but all these are barriers we are breaking," Nyashinski said.

In a rare show of emotion. Nyashinski said, "It is a dream coming true. it means a lot to me. It is the biggest project I have ever done in my life. I have given it everything. I have called all my friends it is all I talk about until even people are tired.

Even when you are watching it when you come with your friends. Just know actually it is a dream come true for me it is a big deal."
