Actress Sandra Dacha has shared memories of the first day her friend Akuku Danger was admitted to the hospital.

On new year eve, Akuku Danger developed breathing difficulties at his home.

Sandra told Mpasho how she almost lost hope after seeing the comedian in the ICU.

"On the new year eve, Neliks called me, saying Akuku is breathing badly, they need 200,000 for him to be admitted at Nairobi West. I went online and artistes contributed money.

When I went to the ICU the next day I cried... I don't know if he will ever post those photos but they were bad. ICU is not a good place. I felt like he was going to die.

Doctors would tell us to pray, you know when a doctor tells you to pray, it means a lot. But who is God? He is healed now," she recalled.

The Auntie Boss actress said she is grateful that he is healed now, and hopes to get him out of hospital corridors.

"He is healed...but he can not be released if we do not clear the 2 Million. Let us help each other...so that he does not get an infection. That is a hospital..you can get an infection."

Yesterday, artistes managed to raise about 164,000 that will be used to partially settle the Ksh 1 Million hospital bill.

Sandra said the contributions will be continuing until she manages to get Akuku Danger home.

The comedian has healed but can not be discharged from Nairobi West Hospital due to the outstanding bill.

Sandra made an appeal to fans to help her take her bae home through contributing on Paybill number - 891300 , Account Number - AKUKU.
