Karen Nyamu says her third pregnancy came as a shock as she was at the time in high gear planning on getting back to politics.

Nyamu is vying for the Nairobi Senate seat in 2022 and is expectant with her third child. The pregnancy will be her second child with Mugithi Maestro, Samidoh, as she had her first child from a previous relationship.

Speaking exclusively to Mpasho, Nyamu shared;

"I did not know how to react as I was just getting ready for campaigns. We were deciding the best position in Nairobi. I was a bit shocked but it eventually became exciting, pregnancy is an exciting phase for any mother. I can't wait to meet my baby.'

Asked on how her extended family, Samidoh, and her daughter reacted to the pregnancy, she said;

 "Every family is excited when a new member is coming in. Samidoh loves children so he was excited too. My daughter is the most excited she is always kissing my tummy."

Asked about what she is craving for, she said;

"I am craving fresh orange juice, I even had to buy a commercial  juicer."
