The Kenya Film Commission unveiled the winners of the 2021 Kalasha Awards on Friday, December 10. 

The winners were identified after a rigorous exercise involving a 7-member Jury academy drawn, all drawn from the film industry. 

Here are the films and talents who won in various categories of the Kalasha Awards.

  1. Best Feature film by a student- House of secrets by USIU Africa
  2. Best Documentary- Kesho Pia Ni Simu By Ngendo Muku
  3. Best Special Effects- Mission To Rescue
  4. Best Host In A TV Show- Abiagael Wariara in Bururi wa Ciana
  5. Best Lead Actor in a film- Mawuli Gavor in Just In Time
  6. Best Supporting Actor In A Film- John Ndegwa in Kutu
  7. Best Sound Designer- Kelvin Osoo in House Of Secrets
  8. Best Original Score- Karanja kiarie in Crossroads
  9. Best Supporting Actress In A Film-Catherine Kamau In Kutu
  10. Lead Actress In A Film-Sarah Hassan in Just In Time
  11. Best Lighting Technician- Walter Odhiambo in Adisa
  12. Best Original Screenplay-Dennis Humphrey in Fikirini
  13. Best Director Of Photography-Ryab Tenga in Teleport
