TV personality JB Masanduku has announced an exciting new agribusiness venture in partnership with fish retail chain, Global Tilapia.

This comes as the Kenyan entertainment industry grapples with the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic which has affected many entertainers prompting them to seek alternative livelihoods.

Now, the comedian has unveiled an e-commerce partnership to deliver fresh Tilapia fish bred in Lake Victoria to homes across Nairobi through Global Tilapia’s network of retail outlets.

“It is high time Kenyan artists embrace side hustles that will enable them to stay on track of their finances and achieve financial freedom,” said JB while touring Global Tilapia’s outlets across Nairobi with his new wife, Jackline Njoroge, who is also an actress on Inooro TV.

“I have been contemplating this venture for a while since I learnt that there is a great demand for healthy, pocket friendly fish in Nairobi. I urge all Kenyans to support my venture by ordering raw or fried fish from Global Tilapia during this Christmas season.”

Global Tilapia currently operates a network of 12 retail outlets across Nairobi which serve walk-in customers as well as handling online deliveries. The retail chain sells fresh Tilapia fish from Homa Bay on the shores of Lake Victoria.

In the month of December, JB and Jackie will be visiting the various Global Tilapia outlets in the city to reward customers.
