Kenya's leading music group Sauti Sol will be hosting the 'Sol Fest' concert on Sunday, December 11.
The event that will be going down at the Carnivore grounds in Nairobi will see the band perform their Midnight train album live on stage.
"We are going to put up an amazing show," Chimano said in a presser at Nairobi Street Kitchen on Wednesday.
"I am really excited to finally be back on the Kenyan stage and perform our album midnight train which we haven't performed live. It is going to be fire...the lineup is fire as well," Fancy Fingers said.
"Thanks to our partners Homeboyz entertainment...Radio Africa, you have done an amazing job and we are thankful. We want to change standards in the Kenyan music industry in terms of live performances."
The group has partnered with Radio Africa group, which will be covering the Sol Fest.
Radio Africa's Head of events and Homeboyz General Manager Somoina Kimojino spoke about the partnership with Sauti Sol.
"We have always been supporters of arts and Sauti Sol...for us this is exciting, we hope to amplify it further and continue to grow our partnership beyond our borders and see where it takes us," she said.
In addition, Bien assured fans that the concert will be a different experience for them.
"This year we are in control of everything...the last one - that created a toxic relationship with our fans was all planned by the promoter. The entire event is being handled in-house and we are setting the standard," he said.
Apart from Sauti Sol, other artists such as Femi One, Nandy, Wakadinali, Chris Kahiga, Bensoul and Nviiri will be performing.
