'We felt he would die,' late Kalembe Ndile's son shares their last conversation

Daniel Ndile son of the late Kalembe Ndile has hailed the late politician for being a committed family man.

Speaking during an interview with Mpasho,Dan shared,

"He was hilarious, a good father a husband to my mum. My dad was very supportive and loved all of us (10) equally. He was tough at times but he was a good dad.

He was a go-getter. He used to sell charcoal in Kibwezi he is proof that you can do everything you want to do. Before he passed away, we felt like he would pass away.

He would call us and tell us what to do, give us our property. He even gave me an office in Mlolongo.

I am this ready to vie for a political seat because of my dad. I will be here for a long time."

Kalembe who was a former Member of Parliament for Kibwezi Constituency passed away on May 30, 2021 this year due to liver complications at the Nairobi Hospital.
