Bonfire Adventures MD Sarah Kabu has plans to pick some planes parked at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
On her social media, Sarah shared her idea of purchasing the aeroplanes that can not fly anymore and make them useful.
"They are getting disposed at a throw-away price, I want to pick a few... I believe some of you can also join me in this venture," Sarah Kabu said.
Sarah invited like-minded people to join her in putting the idle planes into use and earning money from it.
“We transport them to somewhere and then refurbish them into Airbnb homes.. we have a small restaurant… and form a new vibe that Kenyans would want to try out."
She reached out to designers and other creatives to share ideas on making the planes useful.
"Are you an interior designer, hospitality expert or creative ideas whizz.... what do you think we can do with these junk aeroplanes museum for the millennials tourism industry and where?" Sarah wrote.
