Daddy Owen's dad died of cardiac arrest.

Speaking to Mpasho.co.ke, Owen said he counts his late dad as his hero in so many ways.

He added that some of the things his dad predicted about his life happened.

"Every boy child needs a father no matter what age... I feel the situation that happened in my life recently I would have handled it differently if my dad was around.

He was my hero... I wish I listened to him more... he was like a prophet. He predicted so much that happened in my life."

Earlier on, Owen shared that his dad complained of chest pains before he passed on.

"Our dad was having a normal evening with our mum at home and at some point, he excused himself to go to the toilet.

Suddenly, he fell down and when our mother rushed there, he complained of chest pain. In a matter of seconds, he was dead,” he said.

Daddy Owen is currently promoting his new album Chapter 4 released last month.
