A traditional wedding in Kenya adopted the theme of the famous Netflix series, Squid game. 

At the traditional ceremony, popularly known as Ruracio, the ladies covered their faces with masks resembling that of the Squid Game casts. 

In the Agikuyu traditions, ladies of the same size as the bride are covered from head to toe, and the man is given the hard task of identifying his bride. 

Failure to identify the right woman leads to a hefty fine to be paid on the spot.

The theme of the Netflix series has become popular in Kenya. Recently, Eric Omondi and his Wife Material casts also dressed in costumes resembling those of Squid Game casts.
