Kenyan social media influencers and creatives are set to benefit from the newly launched Twiva app.
The app that was launched at the Sankara Hotel on Friday, October 29 offers a social commerce platform for influencers and brands to connect.
Speaking to Mpasho, Twiva founder Peter Kironji said that the platform will offer equal opportunities to all influencers, regardless of their social media following.
"It is not about the number of followers you have, but the value. One might be having lesser followers who like what he or she is doing.
Our system doesn't care whether you are a macro or micro-celebrity, the question is, can you sell something? That's an influencer to us, "Peter Kironji explained.
