Speaking during the launch of Twiva, a social commerce platform, Kate revealed that it took effort and money to get where she is.
She said that financial constraint is one of the biggest challenges when one is starting their journey to become a social media influencer.
"Money. It is a - use money - to make money kind of business. If you have to create high-quality content you have to be the best in the craft. That means acquiring high-quality equipment," Kate actress said.
The mother of two added that another uphill task is getting businesses and corporates to trust you and believe in your brand.
"I was lucky to be one of the best because as an actress I had built a community. I was on TV every Sunday for 10 years, so it wasn't very hard for me to break through."
