Singer Naiboi is set to release his Extended Play (EP) dubbed Otero on Friday, October 29.
The EP comes 4 months after releasing 'Pesa', his first single of the year featuring Comedian DJ Shiti.
The 10-track EP has been produced by Bass Man and Naiboi, with additional production by Jazzbass beats and Harmado.
It features some of the best music talents in East Africa.
The EP comes after the 2in1 hitmaker expressed his frustrations as some external forces have been diminishing his progress in the music industry.
"All I ever wanted is to release music for my fans. And najua mafans wana shangaa what's up with A Naiboi. My hands have been tied for almost two years now," Naiboi wrote.
The singer reverted to YouTube to highlight the frustrations of Kenyan artists in preparation for his EP.
He held a discussion with Nameless, where they shared the challenges in the music industry and its changing nature.
Nameless gave Naiboi one of his secrets of surviving in the Kenyan music industry.
"I have to understand what are the things that they look for so that I can align with that."
