Kenyan motivational speaker Sam West has advised Kenyans to always walk away on the first incident of abuse.
Sam said waiting for someone to change may end in disaster. Speaking exclusively to Mpasho, Sam said;
"When a man beats you the first time walkout. Do not wait. Every time a man/woman lays a hand on you that is a red flag.
Sometimes the red flags may not be physical they can be verbal. Some people also use deprivation tactics where they deny you something so that you are helpless.
Women mostly deny a man sex. Men on the other hand may deny you money."
Sam's advice comes at a time when the Ndichu brothers are trending after being caught assaulting a woman at Ole Sereni.
The woman whose identity remains private says she was attacked by the twins after turning down their advances.
