"When Wanyama was here (Kenya) for three days, Serah hadn't given birth yet. So Wanyama hasn't met his cute little baby as yet," the source added.
Wanyama's family have been Serah's support from the time she gave birth at a Nairobi Hospital to date.
"Wanyama is super excited about the news and he cannot wait to see the baby."
A few weeks back, Wanyama announced that he will be retiring from international football.
He said in a statement, "We have shared great moments together and I am proud to have been your captain and leader.
But all good things must come to an end eventually and after long consideration, I have made the really difficult decision to retire from international football.
The time has come to hand over the team to the next generation so they too can make their mark and help our country reach even greater heights."
Adding, "No, she is not staying with the family, she is at Wanyama's house."
The new mum gushed about her baby today saying, "We are 40 days today. I'm obsessed."
Serah added three faces with love heart emojis.
Our source declined to reveal the gender of the baby and name saying the parents will do so in due time.
Congratulations to Serah and Wanyama of their new bundle of joy.
