His wife, Jacqueline Monari wrote a moving tribute.
"I am heartbroken by your loss but honoured to have shared your life. You were a remarkable husband, dependable, loving and caring. Our time together may have been cut short but the happiness we shared will last a lifetime.
You made me laugh, you made me smile, you were my companion and dear friend. I will forever love and miss you.
My mind knows that you are in a better place where there is no pain. You are at peace."
Monari will be laid to rest on Sunday, October 17, 2021, at his Gisembe home, Kisii county.
