Kenyan actor Sammy ‘Nagi’ Jacuzzi has been featured in the newly released Black as Night film that was released on October 1. 

Nagi is staring on the intriguing teen horror film that is streaming exclusively on Amazon Prime Video. 

The Bloomhouse vampire film where Nagi plays Nigerian vampire Tunde is based on a teenage girl with self-esteem issues who finds confidence in the most unlikely way.

By spending her summer battling vampires that prey on New Orleans' disenfranchised with the help of her best friend, a boy she's always pined for, and a peculiar rich girl.

Nagi remains one of the leading actors coming out of Kenya at the moment.

His extensive roles over the years have seen him grace some of the top Hollywood movies and series such as NCIS: New Orleans, ATL Homicide, Emperor, Games People Play, 5th Quarter and For My Man just to mention a few.

Born and raised in Nairobi and Columbia, South Carolina Nagi enjoyed the best of both worlds before settling in the US to pursue an illustrious acting career.

At a young age, Nagi was playing lead roles in numerous school and community stage plays landed him a talent agent at the early age of 15 setting him up for the 20th Century Fox movie, The 5th Quarter released 2009.

He displayed an outstanding performance as a newcomer alongside industry heavyweights including Ryan Merriman, Aiden Quinn and Andie MacDowell opening doors to a series of aforementioned film roles across the US in the subsequent years.

The fast-rising actor told Mpasho that he has planned a homecoming tour to Kenya.
