About four months after moving to the USA, Godfather of Genge Nonini finds the environment there good for his music and business.
The rapper has been holding concerts and pushing his Mgenge2Ru fashion brand.
Speaking exclusively to Mpasho, Nonini explained that it is advantageous to do music in the USA compared to Kenya.
"USA is the entertainment hub of the world. It's easy to do business here because like New York is the fashion and music hub, Los Angeles is full of actors and superstars," he shared.
The rapper has gone slow on his music career to concentrate on his fashion apparel, but he says he is not out of the game yet.
"I have been recording, my fourth album is out, playing on various digital platforms. Its called Mgenge2Ru," he said.
Currently, Nonini is working on his 5th album.
"I have started recording, the other day I recorded a song with an artiste from LA. My song with Chege from Tanzania will be dropping soon."
