It is a strange thing for a man to wear clothes that are seen to traditionally be the reserve for women. 

Other than clothes, many Kenyans get shocked when they see men putting on make-up or wigs. 

Most men who pull such antics are suspected to be homosexuals, even if they are not. 

However, there are men who break the rules and go all out with their fashion taste just to give an impression or be themselves. 

Here are some Kenyan men we have seen rocking dresses like beauties. 

1. Eric Omondi

Not once, not twice, the Kenyan comedian has adopted a feminine look, accompanied with a sexy dress, make-up, a wig, and even 6-inch shoes. 

When Eric Omondi first rocked a dress, it shocked many Kenyans. 

But the comedian wears dresses several times while getting into a female character. 

2. Shaniqwa

Kevin Mwangi alias Shaniqwa can bring out the face of a real woman when he rocks a short dress, smudged makeup and a fake accent. 

Even though Shaniqwa was dressing like a woman to fit into his acting character, it sparked alot of speculations from Kenyans. 

3. Peter Nyong’o Junior

The brother of Hollywood actress Lupita Nyong'o shocked many Kenyans after turning up at blankets and wine event in a dress. 

This sparked speculations that Junior Nyong'o is a homosexual. 

However, many were shocked years later after he wedded Wanja Wahoro in an exclusive wedding. 

4. Binyavanga Wainaina

The late Binyavanga Wainaina was known to be courageous and unapologetic about his fashion sense. 

Binyavanga loved colours, and would rock a dress or skirt to any event, and stand out.

Being a member of LGBT, Binyevanga was known for his activism on gay rights and was also a celebrated author.
