This weekend, B Club and a section of DJs will be hosting Evolve Thursdays for the next few months. The event is set to keep the legacy of DJ Evolve alive.
Last year, B Club took to their social media announcing that they could not wait to have their King on the decks again.
The post - which has since been deleted read, "Welcome back home KING @dj_evoolve (lowkey assassin, we can’t wait to dance to your vibe once this lockdown is over.”
DJ Pierra Makena told Mpasho, "We are doing this to keep his legacy alive. You know he used to spin at B Club and this event is holding the fort for him till he returns."
She added, "The funds raised from the event will be sent to him to also help with his upkeep."
The event will be hosted every Thursday at B Club. Tomorrow the show will host visiting Ghanaian rapper Sarkordie and Kiss FM's Jalango.
