Award-winning Tanzanian artist Rayvanny has revealed most of his songs are written while in the toilet.

The atmosphere of the restrooms acts as an aphrodisiac for Rayvanny's creativity.

Speaking during an exclusive interview with Mpasho, Rayvanny shared;

" Most of my songs are written while in the toilet. The echo in the toilet is like a mix, It has an alto tune and evolve, it makes you get the vibe to writing a song.

Plus there are no distractions in the washroom."

Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua has asked Kenyan artists to emulate Tanzanians who write music at every chance they get instead of waiting for months.

"Tanzanians are making so much money from Youtube, downloads, and digital platforms. Like Rayvanny here, He goes to the washroom and he is writing a song.

Most Tanzanians sleep and wake up writing songs. They don't write a song and wait for 6 months.

Kenyan artists have to copy them, don't wait for six months, produce songs even every day. There is a market, acha kungoja serikali."

Rayvanny is in Kenya to celebrate his birthday which is on Sunday 22/08/2021.

He will be celebrating his birthday alongside Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua whose birthday also falls on the same day.

They will hold a double birthday at Ole Sereni, where Rayvanny will also be launching a new song.

Rayvanny will also do a mini-concert.
