The burial of the late Caroline Kangogo is underway at her home in Nyawa village, Elgeyo Marakwet County.
Caroline's body arrived at the home on Thursday morning from the Iten County Referral Hospital mortuary.
Her father, Barnabas and mother Leah Kangogo led mourners to collect the body ahead of burial.

Caroline's body was cleared for burial on Tuesday, after an autopsy conducted by Chief government pathologist Dr. Johansen Oduor.
The autopsy conducted on the body of police constable Caroline Kangogo suggested that she died of a gunshot wound after a bullet went through her brain, head and skull.
