Police at Melelo police station in Narok South Sub County are investigating an incident where a 30-year-old man was found dead in his guest room at Chumbek trading centre.

Narok police boss Kizito Mutoro said the deceased by the name Robert Saningo had lodged alone and in the morning was found dead on his bed.

The Police Commander confirmed that the body had no visible injuries, hence it was difficult to predict the cause of death immediately.

However, he confirmed that the body was photographed and an investigation launched to ascertain the cause of death.

“The hotel owner by the name Winny Chepkirui reported the incident to the police who moved to the scene and confirmed that the body of the young man was indeed lifeless,” he said.

Saningo’s body was taken to Longisa Sub County Hospital morgue for preservation awaiting postmortem.
