Comedian Omosh says going to rehab is not a better option for him.

Speaking to Mpasho.co.ke, Omosh said 'I have been to rehab twice, for now, I am not drinking and if people want to confirm, let them come to the ground.

He added "Rehab can only be a personal decision. I have to involve my family as well. No one can be forced to go to rehab. I do not see the point of going back to rehab, but I think visiting a counsellor once in a while would be the best option for me."

Fellow Tahidi High actors have called for the actor to be taken to rehab.

Actor Kelvin Oyiso (Eddy), while reacting to a post on social media, added that Omosh cut off his former Tahidi High actors after he was rewarded with land, a house, and other donations including money.

Eddy said they were worried that Omosh may squander his newfound riches and may be tempted to sell the land and donations.

His colleagues also felt that he needed further counselling not only on battling alcoholism but self-management and other related areas.

In a past interview with Radio Jambo, Omosh spoke about how alcohol took a toll on him.

"I used to drink 10 beers daily without feeling any effect," he stated, adding that he attended rehab for three months where he underwent treatment and counselling.
