Magix Enga has blown the lid wide open on drug use in the music industry.

The Gengetone producer has revealed that drug use is rampant in the music studios. it is a norm. and acceptable way of life.

"‘Wasee wanawasha. Weed is a herb. Weed hao wasee wanachoma vibaya sana. (It is the norm for someone to just light up weed. It is described as a herb. People light up on the regular.)"

Magix Enga said that since he started recording Gengetone music he fell into the habit of smoking too much and that habit landed him in rehab.

"Sio mchezo manze. Nimekuwa niki record wasanii different. Msanii anaingia leo ni wa gospel, kesho mwingine anakuja na bangi… Bangi sai ni herb, kila mtu anatumia. Mwingine anakuja na pombe. So kwa hiyo harakati ya ku record, unajipata umetumia na hukuwa unataka."

Adding,

"Nilienda rehab for a couple of days. Wasee wengi wanafaa kuenda rehab juu ni poa kuenda kuangaliwa umetumia drugs kiasi gani juu nimekuwa niki record gengetone."
