Media personality Grace Msalame has opened up on her pregnancy journey and birth story for her third child.

In an Instagram QnA session, Grace was asked by one of her followers to talk about VBAC - Vaginal birth after cesarean section. Studies have shown a 60 to 80 percent success rate for women who attempt VBAC as a safe and appropriate choice for most women who have had a prior C-section.

Msalame explained,

"Maybe on his 1st birthday, it will all sink in! I still can't believe this particular prayer was answered and just how I desired at the comfort of my own home I had my water baby yaani ni Mungu to imagine! Niliomba yangu yote."

A water birth means at least part of your labor, delivery or both happen while you're in a birth pool filled with warm water. It can take place in a hospital, a birthing centre, or at home. A doctor, nurse-midwife, or midwife helps you through it.

She also addressed the separation anxiety that newmothers experience.

Sis tuko pamoja I only go every fortnight for a couple of hours otherwise work remotely because I'm that Mum! Yet i miss him even when I've dashed to the Supermarket."

Adding,

"Same with my girls, stayed at home with them for about a year before I was ready to return to work. Though I know this is only by the Grace of God to be able to do this. What I've learned with relationships though especially our children is quality! Ensure when you're with them you are present. You may not have the quantity you want but make it worthwhile when you are present. Hope I helped."

Msalame also served tea on the Porsha/ Flaynn drama?

"Not one to discuss people so all I'll say is those guys move on faster. I dunno how they do it. My heart needs a good number of years to recover!!! As for that mess, girl, what life has taught me is- "watuwawili peke yao wanajua nini iko kati yao." The rest of the world will talk but only those involved know what's up."
