Actress Makena Njeri, an advocate of the LGBTQ(Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer) community has celebrated Marini Naturals for recognising them in their institution.

According to the actor cum journalist, Mitchelle Ntalami's company has not only recognized the community in their mission and vision statements, but also operations.

Makena and Mitchelle are very close friends who are huge advocates for LGBTQ rights.

In her response to Makena's post, Mitchelle expressed her love, praising her for being the first to start an advocacy for LGBTQ people.

"You are most welcome! For all that you are, all that you have been to me, and all that you are doing with , you had to be the first we celebrate from the community!," Mitchelle said.

The former BBC journalist has started her own community called Bold Network Africa which will act as an advocate for LGBTQ rights in the continent.

In an Instagram post, the community also hailed Marini Naturals company for their steadfast support.

"We applaud you today for the strides you have taken and want to specifically thank your CEO @michelle.ntalami for the constant support she has openly shown for our CEO @makenanjeri and the love for the community, everyone is human," read the post.

In the company profile, Makena identifies herself as Chris, which is a short form of her official name, Christine.
