Former TPF star David Major has paid tribute to his late mother. He was rescued from the streets after he was found homeless in Nairobi’s Roysambu estate.

His fellow reality star, Alvan Gatitu, updated fans saying,

"Lots of things have knocked David out of shape. 😔😔😔 The immediate thing he needs right now is rehab and counselling. Then build something he can fall back on once he comes out of the clouds."

David is the son of the late Dr Margaret Ogola, an award-winning author, medical doctor, and human rights advocate who succumbed to cancer in 2011.

In a Facebook post on June this year, Davis wrote,

"Happy Birthday Mama. Words don't suffice but I will try all the same. Brought into this world by one of the most amazing people, the most incredible woman I'll ever know."

He continued,

"You are the inspiration of a lifetime, a love like we've never known. We'll never be the same again. I stand here where we layed you to rest and all I can think to myself is that I'll fight to find my way back to my calling as you watch over us. I love you Mama."

In another older post, David mused,

"I finally understand for a woman it ain't easy trying to raise a man."
