Suzanna Owiyo has thanked Kenyans for their massive support on Saturday during her performance at the Kenya Ni Yetu Live virtual concert.

The Afrofusion queen was among the 30 artistes who were performing the biggest Live concert since Covid-19 came to Kenya.

The concert which was sponsored by Stanbic bank and was powered by the Media  Owners Association of Kenya was aired across all leading television, radio stations and digital platforms.

Taking to her social media platform Suzanna said she does not take the love and loyalty from her fans for granted.

'Thank You for watching the show. The show was amazing and the line up was perfect.

I do not take it for granted, we have come along way.'

In an earlier interview with Mpasho, Suzanna had said that Covid-19 had made her appreciate people more and see value in everybody.

‘THE PANDEMIC HAS MADE ME REFLECT A LOT ON THE PURPOSE OF LIFE.

LIFE CAN DRASTICALLY CHANGE. I HAVE REALIZED WE ARE NOT IN CONTROL OF OUR DESTINIES.

‘ITS HIGH TIME WE RECOGNIZE THE VALUE IN PEOPLE AROUND US.

EVERY CREATURE ON EARTH IS WORTHY OF OUR RESPECT AND CARE. WE CAN ONLY SUCCEED THROUGH COOPERATION.

CRISIS OF THIS MAGNITUDE REQUIRES COOPERATION ON ALL FRONTS.’

Her fans were also quick to point out that she is ageless with many wondering what the secret is.

Well, positivism is the secret.

'One thing that came out strongly from the comments was how I don't age.

I am happy and I have learnt to acknowledge the compliments.

The secret is all in the mind, what I do is live on a positive energy whether  am in or outside the house.

I want to attract positive energy in everything I do or touch. For people my age don't be so hard on yourself, age is just a number.'
