Fat shaming is a bad vice that should not be entertained but that has not stopped some Kenyans from body shaming celebrities whenever they get a chance.

Bad as it is, some of these celebs have chosen to let the trolls know that they cannot put them down.

Linda Nyangweso

Radio queen Linda Nyangweso has been a victim of body shaming but that has not dampened her spirit.

It all started when her Kiss Drive co-host Jeff Mote shared a photo of the two in studio and fans could not mince their words on how Lynda has physically changed.

One of the fans going by the name Katrinakaz dropped her comment asking the radio queen to find time for the gym while one Kelly Shan made a comment on how fat she keeps growing each time.

This led to a series of comments from other fans on the same issue which in a way did not go down well with the Kiss Drive host, as some encouraged her to be as she sees okay for herself and not mind what is said.

Lynda Nyangweso, who could not hold it back, responded to the request of her fans in a sarcastic way, claiming that they had opened her eyes over the same and thanked them for helping her come out of denial.

“@kelly_shan2820 you and @katrinakaz have saved me thank you.

I was about to drink my glass of wine, live my best life, mind my own damn business, grow my edges and let my skin glow but you two have shown me the light, or the fat, I hadn’t noticed it.

Pierra Makena

Pulse magazine ran a piece on Pierra Makena that was fat shamming indirectly.

She was not impressed and called them out for their unethical behaviour, saying that no one should body shame a mother.

“The last thing a person should tell a mother is how bad she looks, Putting her down is unfair and uncouth, this should stop.

I speak as a mom and kudos to all women and mothers looking gorgeous and bringing up beautiful children!!!!.

I was deeply hurt and I even let it out on my show @LetsTalkKE tells you how emotional we get sometimes.”

Pierra has gone on to lose the baby fat and she is looking hot, so to the haters out there take a chill pill.

Anerlisa Muigai

Daughter to Keroche industries boss has had her fair share of fat shaming. In December 2018, she shared her progress photos and that set the ground for her trolls.

She posted four pictures and captioned it ‘New month, new beginnings’.

A section of fans commented on Anerlisa’s post suggesting that she had put on some weight. Some went on to fat shame her on the comment section.

Anerlisa reacted by cautioning her critics that she get hurt whenever people call her fat. She further stressed that she would not tolerate any negativity on her Instagram account.

“You should be very careful what you say to others.

I do not appreciate when people comment on my picture calling me fat and all sorts of words to do with body size.

I am human and i get hurt like everyone else. I am very open with you all on my page but some sort of respect would be appreciated. #PositiveVibesOnly,” wrote Anerlisa.

Sanaipei Tande

Sanaipei came under harsh criticism in 2018 after she appeared on a local daily sucking in her tummy. Many argued that it is time she accepted her potbelly.

Buzz magazine shared a photo of Sanaipei  and captioned it “Sanaipei Tande and her tummy on stage”.

Sanaipei did not take the criticism well and came back to respond to her haters telling that everyone one has their own tummy so it shouldn’t be a big deal.

DK Kwenye Beat

Gospel artiste DK has in the past been trolled for his excess weight with some Kenyans even coming up with memes.

DK has grown a potbelly in the past and many have ridiculed him asking when he is going to give birth.
