Kuria said on Friday that he has not used any social platform since mid January.

He was speaking during the launch of the 'Umeme Rahisi' project at Kiganjo Youth Polytechnic.

Kuria asked his detractors to allow him to focus on developing his constituency.

He said "unnecessary" media wars and court cases will only derail him.

"My hands are full with commitments that I have made to my constituents and you should therefore leave me alone,” he said.

Kuria underlined that he has no problem with any particular tribe.

He said he has worked closely with Luo and has many business partners in Nyanza.

Kuria further said that he will not let "loud-mouths" and "mercenaries for hire" disrespect President Uhuru Kenyatta.

“Uhuru Kenyatta is the legally and constitutionally elected president of this country and he deserves respect from all and sundry. Why do people call him names? Why do they go around bad-mouthing him in total disrespect of his status?" he posed.
