Nicah the Queen is a female gospel artiste. She has released a new song called Naringa. A lot of things inspired her to write the song but mostly it's her experiences.

“I have been through ups and downs and God kept me strong. He's seen me through, healed my heart and made me whole again, so I have every right to and reason ya kuringa na yeye.”

This is a song that God placed in her heart and she felt like singing it.

Her name Nicah The Queen is derived from her real name Veronica and she believes that she is a queen in the kingdom of God. She explained;

"I didn't want to go with Vero because it's too common so I went with the last part of it and then the queen I believe am a queen in the kingdom of God."

She has been on a musical hiatus as the last time she released any song was almost 1 year 3months ago. It has not been easy for her to balance being a mother and her music career. She said;

"It looks like it's easy. Now that the baby is grown it's a bit better, you know when the baby is young it's really hard trying to balance things with music that's why I have been quiet for a while. It's just by the grace of God."

Talking to Mpasho, she revealed more details about her separation from Dr. Ofweneke. So far they have been in contact and their relationship has been good.

"I have seen God. You know it's not easy separating from someone you love, building a family with, someone who was your best friend and spouse. But God has given me peace that surpasses human understanding. He has filled me with joy and I am happy."

She acknowledges that being saved doesn't mean she doesn't get hurt or feel anything. Her heart is not made of steel. She goes through life just like anyone else.

"Ata ukue umeokoka aje or anyting Mioyo yetu si ya chuma. You must get hurt and of course I was hurt after the break up"
