Tanzanian songstress Nandy showcased very nice chemistry with Kenyan singer Willy Paul. Their song “Njiwa” has hit over six million views on Youtube.
For the first time, the award winning bongo star has come out to reveal how she convinced Pozze to change his style and adopt hers…And we loved it.
The “Aibu” hitmaker revealed that she declined Pozze’s first song and later gave him one of her own. She told Mpasho.co.ke that:
I met Willy Paul when I came for a media tour here in Kenya for my song Ninogeshe. He had a conversation with my manager before so when I came, It was the right time.
She then spilled the beans
He gave me a song from his studio and I told him that he had to change so i gave him a song. So we did Njiwa, he loved it and then we shot it.
The African princess spoke this at the Coke Studio 2019, where she is set to collabo with Kenya’s Nadia Mukami, an experience she says has changed her life.
This is my second time at Coke Studio. I feel so nice, the work i did last year has bore fruits that why I’ve been called once again.I’m working with Skales from Nigeria and Nadia. This platform has helped me get known across the continent. Expect great things this year.
