The Groove Awards nominations just concluded two weeks ago with artistes like Mercy Masika, Daddy Owen, Alice Kimanzi and Kelele Takatifu were nominated in various categories.
In an exclusive interview with Mpasho, Ben had a lot to say in regards to not getting any Groove nomination.
He stated, “I have not been nominated for 3yrs now and the rule for the Groove awards is that a song must be one year old. My song is 5 months old. Besides, these last three years I have been working behind the scenes with Groove Awards as a judge in the selection panel. They recognised me as an Icon and Legend. Furthermore, I have been giving awards to other gospel artists.”
