Secular artiste Nadia Mukami has in an exclusive interview with said that she used to be a sales girl before she became well known.

Before venturing into music I used to sell phones and I also did other promotional jobs on Moi Avenue. I sold credit cards and was also a salesperson for shoes. I am a very good sales person that is why I am able to sell my music.

She added that doing such jobs humbles you.

Its difficult you really have to humble yourself. I had studied marketing but I had to settle for that job. I decided to try and see what comes out of it. It’s important to embrace opportunities.
