Gor were also presented with USD30,000 for winning the trophy having beaten Jang’ombe Boys FC of Zanzibar in the quarters and fellow Kenyans Nakuru AllStars FC in the semis 2-0 apiece before their coup de grace on Sunday.

Dar giants, Simba and Yanga as well as Singida United FC represented the host nation whilst SPL champions Tusker were the invited team from Kenya.
