Kiss FM co-host Felix Odiwuor, popularly known as Jalang'o, has declared he will be on the ballot box in 2022.

Speaking on Mpasho Live last year, Jalango said he will vie for Langata MP seat.

“You are speaking to the MP of Langata,”he said. “There are only three years to go and I will be the MP,” he said.

Jalang'o who has graduated from Daystar University pursued an undergraduate degree in Community Development at Daystar University.

He said he enrolled for the course to help him understand how to manage and interact with his constituents once elected.

“It is hard for a common 'Mwananchi' to bring that change we are all looking for but not for a politician. It is easy to bring that change if you are in politics and not out,” he said.

Rufftone

The Mungu Baba hitmaker and a gospel singer Smith Mwatia, alias Rufftone, has confirmed his interest in joining politics come 2022.

Saying that after being in the music industry for over 20 years, he has realised that it is always good to lead from the front.

“This is our time as young people to come out and start leading from the front.” He said

Rufftone said he has gotten so many invites to vie for a political seat from voters in Nairobi and some from his hometown in Western Kenya.

About the position, Rufftone said he has to sit down with his committee and be sure about it.

"I will, however, not be vying for MP. In the near future I will announce the position, constituency and the political party that I am in," he said.

Media personality Jacque Maribe says she has been receiving messages from people who want her to join politics.

Asked if she is thinking of running for a political post in Murang'a come 2022, Jacque said,
