By now, you all know Eunice Njeri said yes to a marriage proposal from fellow gospel musician Izzo - whose real name is Ado K Bukasa.

Eunice who is known for her hit inspirational tunes like Nani Kama Wewe, Unatosha, Uka and Nangoja posted the good news on her Instagram page. She wrote, "#taken," adding, "#isaidYes".

Family, friends and fans were elated at the news of the impending nuptials of the celebrity couple.

Eunice Njeri who is currently in the states, spoke to Nairobian about her upcoming wedding.

"I'm not a girly person. i just want a simple wedding with my family around. i can't announce the dates now until I have cleared with the embassy. I don't want to jinx anything."

Asked about her engagement and how it happened, Eunice Njeri told the paper,

"We had spent the whole day with our pastor and his wife here in the US, and the last thing I expected was such a romantic gesture. In fact, he was just dropping me off to a friend's house when he went on his knees with this beautiful encrusted ring."

Eunice said her wish list for her new family is to be blessed with three children or "whatever God blesses me with".
