This circus is actually painful for those of us who are following it. Why? Because it is a testament to the adage about reality being stranger than fiction yet, at the heart of the matter is a dead child. Esther Arunga and Quincy Timberlake's dead son. And the more light gets shed on the entire affair, the more things take a nose dive into the absurd.And now, the latest development in the case seems to indicate that the boy lost his life in a botched "exorcism" of sorts. According to the Brisbane Times, A week later he was made an involuntary patient.

Four days after Quincy Timberlake was involuntarily admitted into a mental health institution, Mrs Timberlake told officers her husband was pushing on the boy's stomach repeatedly because he believed he had been possessed by aliens and demons.

She said her husband "was speaking as if he was attempting to save [Sinclair] from alien embryos implanted in his stomach", according to police documents tendered in court. 

"She then observed the father of the deceased punch the deceased in the stomach with his fist," the documents said.

The boy was then allegedly thrown against a wall, before he was showered, dressed and left on his bed.
