They did it again and they deserved it! For the third year in a row, leading bookmakers SportPesa carried the day during Africa’s prestigious sports awards over the weekend. This happened at the Sandton Convention Centre in South Africa with SportPesa winning in all the categories that they were nominated.

These awards are the most prestigious commercial sports award scheme in the continent and winning the award is no mean feat. The awards are held to recognize and honour the very best activations, agencies, brands, campaigns, communications, events, governing bodies, innovations, platforms, programmes, rights holders and sponsorships.

The awards celebrate excellence in the sports industry, honoring the people and corporates behind the growth and success of various sports initiatives globally.

SportPesa took home the Best African Sponsorship Award for Everton in Tanzania besides beating DSTV’S SuperSport to clinch the top honour in the Best Pan African Campaign for the Everton in Tanzania tour in July 2017. It was Everton’s maiden tour of East Africa.
