Former Cabinet Secretary for Youth Affairs, Creative Economy, and Sports Ababu Namwamba has made a social media comeback months after getting sacked by President Ruto's administration.
Taking to his Instagram page the father of 3 shared two pictures of himself noting that getting fired has been a blessing in disguise for him.
Ababu shared how he'd been enjoying his time away while seemingly taking a jab at netizens by using a trending phrase that gained momentum when Ruto disbanded his cabinet.
In one of the photos, the former Budalangi Member of Parliament (MP) donned a coal black 3-piece suit adorned with a shiny collar paired with a white shirt and a bowtie. Ababu completed the look with gold jewellery and Kenyan wristbands on both hands.
His 2nd photo appeared to have been taken at a game reserve or park as he stood next to a green 4-wheeler park van.
The seasoned politician was dressed in a jungle green jacket, paired with a safari hat and black sunnies.
Captioning the posts he in part wrote, "Kusema tu ukweli, sabbatical done me goodie goodie, ama?)"
The former CS went on to highlight how he'd been completely enjoying himself, time away from work, and the peace that came with being away from such a highly demanding position.
"Absolutely enjoying pressureless pleasures," Ababu added engaging netizens by using the youths' famous one liner alongside a laughing emoji "Pressure creasing or nuh?” The last of his post read.
His post has elicited mixed reactions from Instagram users with some praising him for the work he did while he held the docket while others trolled him voicing, that he was just trying to comfort himself after losing the Sports and Youth Affairs position that they felt had gone over his head making him too proud.
