Singer Nadia Mukami is proving that she is indeed an African pop star with her latest album "Queen of the East".
She released the album on 30th August, with a listening party on the 29th where she spoke about the hard work she put into creating this masterpiece.
It is a 13-track album involving collaborations with different artists.
One song that stands out is Kipepeo with Rwandese Bruce Melodie.
It has gathered interest with a song challenge where she offered to pay sh20k for the best challenge.
Nadia has now released the video of the song, sharing behind the scenes of its making.
Kipepeo is a love song showcasing how a woman's love and commitment to a man ends up in disappointment and heartbreak when he marries someone else.
In the video, Nadia takes the role of the main woman who sadly finds out that her man was secretly marrying another woman. She ends in in a bar drinking, and later dies after she is hit by a vehicle.
In the making of a cozy scene sitting on the lap and cradling the male actor played by Ronald Ndubi, Nadia giggles endlessly unable to focus.
Her infectious laughter also makes the crew in the scene laugh as well, as they do multiple retakes of the scene.
